ABSC 200 Club In 2008 and 09, the ABSC 200 Club had great success with all the numbers being taken. This initiative was specifically designed to raise money to assist the ABSC in supporting the Australian Representatives to IBSF World Billiards & Snooker Championships. In addition to supporting the players every number bought is an opportunity for the number holder to share in the prize pool of $10,000 throughout the year, and with eight separate draws there are multiple opportunities to win some of the prize pool. The final Draw for 2009 will be for $2000 and conducted just prior to the commencement of the final of the ‘Bob Hawke AC’ Australian Open Snooker Championships, to be played at Mounties in NSW 18th October. In 2010, the ABSC will be again running a 200 Club, with the Draws being made at Tournaments throughout the year. As part of a loyalty consideration for all those who purchased a Number in the 2009 ABSC 200 Club, we would like to offer them the opportunity to retain the Number(s) they had in 2009 for the 2010 season. To enable this, we need anybody wishing to retain their Number(s) to advise us of that fact by contacting us prior to 17th October at 200club@absc.com.au. Anybody that elects to take advantage of this offer would need to pay for their numbers by 16th November, or the numbers would be released for general sale. As of the 18th October the numbers for the 2010 ABSC 200 Club (other than those reserved as above) will be available for general purchase, with payments in the same manner as in 2009. We hope that everybody will again support this initiative for our representative players at all the IBSF Championships. All of the monies raised from the ABSC 200 Club in 2009 have been used to support our players to the IBSF U21 in Kish Island, Iran and Men’s, Women’s, and Masters in Hyderabad, India this year.
