Points Allocation System - Billiards

Note: This ranking system is unofficial, pending ratification by the ABSC.

1. The 'Australian Open Billiards Championship' and the 'Australian National Billiards Championship' will carry ranking points. 2. Points
		Nominating and playing in a tournament	5 points
		Round Robin game won or receive forfeit	10 points
		Losing Quarter-finalist	20 points
		Losing Semi-finalist	25 points
		Runner-up	30 points
		Winner	40 points
	Bonus points will be awarded for high breaks
		Each break of 100 or more	1 point
		Each break of 200 or more	2 points
		Each break of 300 or more	4 points
		Each break of 400 or more	8 points
		Each break of 500 or more	12 points
		Each break of 600 or more	16 points
		Similarly add 4 for each 100 achieved
3. At the start of the year 25% of points will be deducted from each year's tournaments giving the initial points for the new year.
